Originally from the Canary Islands, far south of mainland Spain, and now based in Madrid, Guiayara is a graphic designer drawn to typography, visual experimentation and cultural movements.
Her work explores the expressive possibilities of type, the interplay of image and language, and the use of contrast to communicate ideas with character.
